PRIVACY INFORMATION, USER OPT-OUT & DATA DELETION

OVERVIEW
Conaxus utilize first and third-party anonymized, encrypted and aggregated personal identifiers (“User Data”) to enable ad personalization based on experience optimization, behavioral profiling and automated decision making as a service to our Advertiser clients (“Advertisers”). Conaxus and Advertisers’ first-party user and visitor personal identifiable data are stored in Online Advertising Platforms listed below on this page (protected and anonymized with encryptions such as SHA-256) access and utilize exclusively by Conaxus and Advertisers. In addition, Conaxus has Google restricted data processing, Meta limit data use and other extra precautionary measures enabled to comply and stay current with the industry’s consumer privacy best practices and regulations. Any first-party user data generated or captured via browsers and mobile devices are solely for ad personalization, behavioral profiling and automated decision making purposes utilized within the Online Advertising Platforms listed on this page, which consumers may elect to opt-out of sell or share of personal identifiable information (such as, but not limited to, cookies, device ids, user ids, IP address, email, phone number and more) from any or all four of the following user data sources:

  1. Online Advertising Platforms

  2. Third-Party Data Sources

  3. User Browser, Device and Operating System

  4. First Party Data and Opt-out Forms

The primary source of Conaxus’s ad personalization rely heavily on third-party data owned by major third-party data companies and platforms (such as, but not limited to, Google, Meta, Twitter, Online Search Engines, Social Platforms, Publishers, Websites, Mobile Devices, Apps, Connected TVs, Credit Agencies, Credit Card Companies and various Data Management Platforms). Conaxus can access third-party user data for advertising, but Conaxus does not have transparency to third-party owned personal identifiable information as they are protected, encrypted and anonymized user information aggregated as groups of users. Given there are multiple third-party and first party sources and platforms involved, consumers can select the following Conaxus first-party and non-Conaxus third-party data source to configure or opt-out of based on individuals’ preference, platform, device and application usage.

4. CONAXUS FIRST-PARTY DATA OPT-OUT AND DO NOT SHARE AND RIGHTS
Opting-out of the third-party platforms listed above will significantly or completely disrupt and disable Conaxus’ ability to utilize ad personalization, behavioral profiling and automated decision making in our online advertising efforts. However, Consumers are still entitled to rights to personal information Conaxus may collect, process, use and disclose. These rights include:

  • To request to know what personal information is collected, used, shared or sold, both as to the categories and specific pieces of personal information about you, whether your personal information is sold or disclosed and the purpose, and with whom your personal information was shared within the past 12 months

  • The right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (Learn More); and

  • To correct inaccurate personal information we retain about you; and

  • To request to delete personal information, unless the CCPA recognizes an exception;

  • To limit the use of sensitive personal information; and

  • The right to non-discrimination when you exercise a privacy right under the CCPA

  • To access a copy of the personal information we retain about you

Conaxus does not collect, process, have access or share sensitive individual personal identifiable information (such as, but not limited to, Name, Phone Number, Email, Address, Precise Geolocation, Social Security Number, Government Issued ID, Passport or Driver’s License, Account Login Username, Passwords, Passcodes, Financial Account, Racial or Ethnic Origin, Religious or Philosophical Beliefs, Union Membership, Genetic Data and more) within our first-party user data. Once again, Conaxus primarily rely on Online Advertising Platforms to aggregate, anonymize and encrypt personal identifiers as groups to enable personalized advertising, behavioral profiling and automated decision making. Therefore, Conaxus does not have access or permission to any individual (non-aggregated) personal information or identifiers with any third-party data sources, browsers, devices and operating systems to expedite opt-outs on behalf of any users.

However, consumers can additionally choose to initiate a formal request with Conaxus. Please note Conaxus is required by law to verify the identity of the authorized requestor with a government-issued ID. Authorized agents acting on behalf of a requestor must obtain a notarized affidavit of this request or provide a notarized power of attorney document signed by the designated requestor.

This formal opt-out request will prompt Conaxus to provide all the available information Conaxus has within the data we have access to and also provide additional resources to assist consumers to access information and opt-out of third-party data sources Conaxus may utilize. In addition, Conaxus will exclude your Browser Cookie, Browser Information, Device ID/Identifiers, IP Address and/or other personal identifiers within the Online Advertising Platform advertisers accounts we manage as part of our opt-out process. This measure will, in our best ability, to avoid personalized advertising, behavioral profiling and automated decision making using Conaxus or Advertisers’ first-party data. In rare occurrences, opted-out users may still randomly targeted with our general ads without the use of any personalized advertising powered by Conaxus or client's’ first-party data (usually with new devices, new browser identifiers, anonymized browsing or IP address).

PRIVACY RECOMMENDATIONS, RESOURCES AND BEST PRACTICES

  • Online user information stem from the daily applications and device you elect to use. For maximum user privacy, Conaxus recommends using:

    • Online privacy centric Web Browsers

    • Web Browser Extensions that disable online trackers and/or block ads

    • Online privacy centric Search Engines that do not track user search queries

    • Online privacy centric Mobile Devices (such as Apple iPhone with iOS14 or later)

    • Disable Ad Personalization with the device Operating System

    • VPN (Virtual Private Network)

This is the most effective approach and preventative approach to opt-out of Online Tracking, Behavioral Profiling and Automated Decision Making

  • To completely clear browsing history, device information and existing user information, utilize all four of the above opt-out and data deletion methods

  • The business of Online Advertising and Personalized Advertising help to generate ad revenue for Publishers, Content Creators and Online Platforms to continue providing free quality services, content and products for its users. Online ads generally are valued significantly less for Publishers, Platforms and Content Creators without the use of anonymized user personal identifiers for Personalized Advertising and Behavioral Profiling. The user data being tracked, in our professional opinion, are not designed to violate users’ privacy as online user data are always protected, anonymized, encrypted and aggregated with regulations for our industry to comply
