Conaxus processes first-party and third-party anonymized, encrypted, and aggregated personal identifiers (“User Data”) to deliver ad personalization, experience optimization, behavioral profiling, and automated decision-making on behalf of our advertiser clients. All first-party data collected or provided by Conaxus or its Advertisers is stored exclusively within the Online Advertising Platforms identified on this page. These data sets are protected and anonymized using industry-standard encryption (including SHA-256) and are accessible only to Conaxus and relevant Advertisers for the limited purposes described above. Conaxus further ensures compliance with applicable privacy and data-protection laws—including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA)—by maintaining safeguards such as Google Restricted Data Processing, Meta Limit Data Use, and other industry best practices.

Conaxus’s advertising and personalization services also rely on third-party data supplied by independent data companies and digital platforms—including, without limitation, Google, Meta, X (formerly Twitter), search engines, social platforms, publishers, websites, mobile apps and devices, connected-TV environments, credit agencies, credit-card networks, and data-management platforms (collectively, “Third-Party Sources”). While Conaxus may access information made available by these Third-Party Sources for advertising, analytics, and experience optimization, it does not receive or process raw personally identifiable information (PII). All data received is de-identified, encrypted, and aggregated, and Conaxus has no technical ability to re-identify individual data subjects.

Consumers have the privacy right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information—including, but not limited to, cookies, device identifiers, user IDs, IP addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers—across first-party and third-party sources, such as:

  • Online Advertising Platforms

  • Third-Party Data Sources

  • User Browser, Device, and Operating System Data

  • First-Party Data and Opt-Out Forms

Such choices can be exercised through Conaxus’s first-party opt-out mechanisms and, where applicable, the privacy controls, consent tools, or preference centers offered by relevant third-party platforms, devices, and applications. Conaxus will honor all valid opt-out or limitation requests in accordance with applicable law and internal compliance procedures.

Your privacy is important to us. This goal of this page is to serve as an informative directory of Conaxus’ consumer privacy resources and best practices to guide consumers how to access, opt-out, data deletion and request for information of online personal information and identifiers. 4. [OPTIONAL] CONAXUS FIRST-PARTY DATA: OPT-OUT AND DO NOT SHARE AND PRIVACY RIGHTS
Opting out of the third-party advertising platforms listed above may significantly limit or completely disable Conaxus’s ability to deliver ad personalization, behavioral profiling, and automated decision-making in its online advertising services.
Nevertheless, you retain important rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), with respect to any personal information Conaxus may collect, process, use, or disclose - Learn More

Conaxus does not collect, process, access, or share sensitive or individually identifiable personal information, including, but not limited to Name, telephone number, email address, or physical mailing address, Precise geolocation data, Government-issued identifiers such as Social Security numbers, driver’s licenses, or passports, Financial account numbers, login credentials, or passwords, Information revealing racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, or genetic data. Instead, Conaxus relies primarily on major online advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads) that aggregate, encrypt, and anonymize user identifiers into audience segments for the sole purposes of ad personalization, behavioral profiling, and automated decision-making.
As a result, Conaxus does not receive or retain non-aggregated, individually identifiable personal data and cannot directly process opt-out requests for data maintained solely by third-party platforms, browsers, devices, or operating systems.

Consumers may also submit a direct opt-out request to Conaxus. To comply with applicable privacy and identity-verification requirements, the following legal documentation is required: Government-issued photo identification to verify the identity of the requestor; and if acting through an authorized agent: either (a) a notarized affidavit of authorization, or (b) a notarized power of attorney signed by the consumer. Upon successful verification, Conaxus will, provide all personal information that we can lawfully access; supply resources or instructions to help you exercise opt-out rights directly with third-party data sources we may utilize; and exclude your browser- and device-related identifiers (such as cookies and IP addresses) from advertiser accounts managed by Conaxus to the maximum extent permitted by law—thereby disabling personalized ads, behavioral profiling, and automated decision-making to the fullest extent possible.

[Important Limitations] Even after an opt-out is completed, you may still encounter non-personalized Conaxus ads in certain situations—such as when using a new device or browser, a new or reset browser, an anonymized or private-browsing session or a different IP address. These ads will be publisher, ad placement, contextually or third-party data targeted only and will not use Conaxus or client first-party data for personalization.

5. PRIVACY RECOMMENDATIONS, RESOURCES AND BEST PRACTICES

Online user information is often derived from the applications, devices, and digital services you choose to use. For maximum privacy protection, Conaxus recommends the following best practices and resources:

  • Privacy-focused web browsers - Mozilla Firefox, Brave Browser, Tor Browser

  • Browser extensions that block trackers and ads - Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin, HTTPS Everywhere

  • Search engines that do not track user queries - DuckDuckGo, Startpage, Qwant

  • Privacy-centric mobile devices and operating systems - Apple iPhone (iOS 14+) with built-in App Tracking Transparency, GrapheneOS (for advanced Android privacy)

  • Device-level ad-personalization controls - Apple iOS – Limit Ad Tracking, Android/Google – Ad Personalization Settings

  • Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) to encrypt internet connections and mask IP addresses - ProtonVPN, Mullvad VPN, IVPN

Implementing these tools and settings is the most effective preventative approach to reduce or opt out of online tracking, behavioral profiling, and automated decision-making. To further safeguard personal data and remove existing digital footprints, we recommend using all four opt-out and data-deletion methods described earlier in this Privacy Policy (including platform-level opt-outs, device/browser tools, and direct requests to Conaxus).

Please note that the business model of online and personalized advertising provides essential financial support that enables the continued availability of free, high-quality digital services, content, and products across the internet. While online advertising without the use of anonymized audience data remains possible, such advertising significantly impairs the ability of publishers, content creators, and free digital services to monetize their platforms and sustain operations across online channels. Conaxus represents and warrants that all user data employed for advertising and personalization through its services is not designed to infringe on privacy. All such data are protected, anonymized, encrypted, and aggregated, and their collection and processing are carried out in strict accordance with industry best practices and applicable legal requirements, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and all other relevant privacy and data-protection laws.
